Clean Air Refrigeration & Air Conditioning began its story over 30 years ago. Company founder, Mark Zupo, began working in his family's Air Conditioning business as a teenager, until he began his apprenticeship as a chiller mechanic for Carrier Air Conditioning back in 1995.

Following his apprenticeship, Mark rejoined the family business, which focussed on installation of heating and air conditioning systems throughout the Melbourne metropolitan area. Mentored by his father Frank, Mark has maintained his focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

In 2003, Mark and his wife Fiona moved to Sydney, where Mark continued working in the industry. Over the next 20 years, his focus was primarily on preventative maintenance of AC systems and equipment.

Following the pandemic, improved air quality within HVAC systems became Mark's key objective. As a result, in 2023, Mark and Fiona returned to Melbourne and began Clean Air Refrigeration & Airconditioning. With the goal of tackling unseen mould and bacteria, Mark and Fiona are having tremendous success in treating and eliminating harmful mould within air conditioning systems that they maintain.
